Fat Grip Pull Up Handles

The FitBar HG-7 Fat Grips are excellent for grip training and forearm muscle activation. These are extra-thick pull up grips with S hooks that fit on any bar up to 1.5 inch in diameter. The HG-7 consists a durable 2.4 inch diameter structural plastic grip surface that easily spins about its axis, forcing you to use a pinch grip and activating forearm muscles. The Fat Grips are great for building grip strength and adding a challenge to your pull ups. Sleeves on the S hook prevents bar slippage, so you can do extra-wide pull ups without the concern of the grip sliding around. The rope design allows free twist motion, allowing you to do rotating pull ups.

This unique grip can also be used to prepare for obstacle course races. Many of the obstacle course rigs have large diameter pipes that are 2 inch or greater in diameter. The Fat Grips allow you to train your hands and forearm to successfully grab, swing, and lache on these large pipes. The HG-7 Fat Grips are also good for ninja warrior training, as well as general workouts where you want to build forearm and grip strength when using cable machines, exercise bands, and similar gym equipment.
