Extra Wide and High and Wide Pull Up Bar

The FitBar PPB-3 Wide Pull Up Bar is a free-standing unit that’s great for wide grip pull ups. Typical squat rack-style pull up bars are 44” long or less. At 60 inches, the PPB-3 allows you to get an extra wide grip. The bar is extra thick steel and gusseted so it can handle up to 500 lbs – it makes for an excellent pull up bar for weighted pull ups.

The bar on the PPB-3 can be adjusted up to 95 inches in height. This makes it a good pull up bar for tall people. Conversely, the bar can be set at the low position (and flipped) to be lower than most pull up bars. The gusset plates provide the ultimate in a rigid pull up bar. We have provided integral rubber pads on the bottom surface to prevent the pull up bar from sliding around on a hard surface. Additionally, there are holes in the base so you can bolt the pull up bar to the ground.
